is that why Intel released dual core before shipping and AMD is shipping dual core before their release?

Intel has been shipping Smithfield for quite some time now.

That was the consensus when AMD announced their flash division was losing money.

They now are a "one trick pony" - as in microprocessors.

AMD always is the first to have some neatly engineered chip - "but it won't apply to PC".

So they like the limelight ,but in making money they are a niche player at best.

Still miss Jerry Sanders flash and sizzle - unfortunately - NO STEAK.
