Bear Stearns

NEW YORK, April 18 (newratings.com) - Analyst Andrew J Neff of Bear Stearns maintains his "outperform" rating on Dell Inc (DELL.NAS), while reducing his estimates for the company. The target price has been reduced from $53 to $45.

In a research note published on April 15, the analyst mentions that the IT spending environment appears to be weaker than expected, given the sluggish revenues reported by Dell's major competitor, IBM. Bear Stearns has downgraded the IT hardware sector from "market weight" to "underweight." The EPS estimates for FY2006 and FY2007 have been reduced from $1.60 to $1.55 and from $1.90 to $1.80, respectively.

.<<The day isn't over yet. We may "win" before the day is over. :)>>

Might have a delayed fuze, a possible black Tuesday.?

But we did what we could to get the price down for Pat. Hes the only one left I know with enough money to buy.

I am out of all stocks but one (and a dab of Dell) now, and no calls.

Am set for vacation, which may involve just fixing cars and things around here. But far less tension.

I have been off margin no more than 4 weeks out of the last 416 weeks( 8 years).

Its no way to live, day after day, night after night, waiting for that dreaded margin call and that nasty 'you owe me note' from the broker.
Got two of them altogether.

I was actually doing well this year, until about 2 weeks ago.
Thats when I started talking to some new friendly bulls in the oil patch. They thought they had discovered the next Dell, and that all oil and gas stocks would go nowhere but up.
Thats not what happened (g)
