Gopher, Lots of leaps of assumptions you make!! No conspiracy theory here, just typical Dell behavior for a new launch especially when chip probably is in short supply. I had an e-value code for the XPS Gen 5. Of course there are no CPU configurations; if you want to configure, look at the Gen 4. Within a few days Dell's site will probably have easier access to this system.
