The demographics are in President Bush's favor. The longer the problem is ignored, the bigger it gets. The young folk will eventually laugh at the lazy old geezers with their hands out.

Tax simplification si a non-starter. There are too many people making money from the complexity. HR Block, Lawyers, Accountants, software solutions, etc. all of which would be unnecessary if we had a simple tax system. Hold your breath, the tax code is likely to get more complex.
