JF, The majority believes abortions should be legal.

The majority also voted for George W. Bush, but I don't see you sitting well with that decision. ;-)

I'm just making the case against abortion. Obviously we all have choices here, and society can't be expected to defend every single life, even the unborn. Bill Clinton did a great job succintly describing what society believes in, i.e. making abortion "safe, legal, and rare." Unfortunately, society has not lived up to the "rare" part, which makes me wonder how strongly abortion proponents believe in it.

People shouldn't denied the option because it is against some people's religious beliefs.

You are applying that as a general rule or just for abortion?

What if the belief isn't religious?
