Funny that you would discount that story, but publish and refer to several deploring the 'violence' where none has actually occurred.

I posted the entire piece. I generally do that out of habit to provide context. All I wanted to communicate was that, in contrast with the worldnetdaily piece, the ACLU said that they were neutral observers, not there to help the immigrants. Anything else the ACLU had to say on their website was on background, from my perspective. Perhaps I should have highlighted the key paragraph rather than assuming folks would recognize why I posted it.

The piece that LB posted mentioned that Bush called the Minutemen "vigilantes." Does Bush "have an agenda to slander the Minutemen? Are you going to fuss at LB about posting that? Sheesh!

I'm not saying that the ACLU statement (strike one) trumps the hearsay report (strike one)in the worldnetdaily story (strike two), only suggesting we shouldn't be too quick to trumpet that the ACLU is down there warning the border crossers.
