This isn't a college CPU architecture class. This is the business world and the market doesn't care which is the better design, it decides which is the better product.

A bunch of college kids called "Dream works SKG" just decided that this was going to be their "processor of choice" for the next 3 years

Wonder why they didn't pick the shipping Pentium D XE DC?

If you hurry you may just catch Hector talking to a bunch of freshers in a college cafeteria called NAB.

But wait. Dreamworks SKG and the NAB are a bunch of business users that think that the Opteron is a better design and a better product. I'm confused. Why would these real business users choose AMD? :)
