Holy cow! It does look like HP is sold on the Opteron lineup. Pitting the AMD/HP superior lineup against the inferior and outmoded INTC/Dell lineup may have very interesting consequences in the enterprise space, especially with those 3 year warranties thrown in by HP.

One more time. Holy Cow. HP throws its weight behind the entire superior Opteron lineup: It's now HP and Sempron, Athlon 64, workstations, blades and Dual Cores and I wouldn't think very long before Turion 64.

An amazing duo is AMD/HP.

I'm thinking AMD is testing that $17,38 close by week's end now that hard data demonstrating Opteron's superiority is now commonly recognized in the enterprise setting and now that hard data signaling accerating pickup by the enterprise of the Opteron family is now underway.

The NAB and the HP endorsements are huge wins for AMD with huge halo implications.

Looks like the Opteron snowball is fast approaching avalanche status.
