There doesn't seem to be much point in having the capability to turn "ignore" on and off if it doesn't matter whether it's on or off, the PM is still not delivered. The Ignore On/Off toggle only pertains to public messages. Eventually, it will appear only on pages where it is meaningful: subject.aspx, read_msg.aspx, and read_msgs.aspx. Regarding PM's, if you have someone on ignore and/or they have you or ignore, neither can send a the other a new PM, nor can they respond to existing PM's. The other fix today was to block future PM replies when there is an ignore created by either party.
