I gather you haven't kept up with the ways the Bush administration has staffed the various regulatory commissions, Tim.

John, regulation has increased under Bush.

I suspect there are various strains within libertarian thought and one might emphasize the need to protect the property rights of small business owners.

Libertarians would support protecting the property rights of small business owners, but tilting the playing field to overcome some real or imagined advantage that bigger companies have would not be considered an example of protecting property rights.
