The more doom and gloom the better. At a market bottom, you want to see people so scared to buy ANYTHING they are debating where the best CD interest rates can be obtained. That's capitulation: everybody believe stocks are a lose-lose deal, and they want nothing to do with them anymore. That's when the big boys step up to the plate with shopping lists in hand. Now, keep in mind this is not a market bottom, only the end to a correction. So the doom and gloom would not be anticipated to be all-pervasive. T
