What are doing, selling out of the money covered calls? Certainly, you are not shorting the stock?

You are playing with fire and spooling out a bunch of clean investors just to stir the pot??

Don't you realize this company is going to have 25% of the corporate market and 15% of the mobile market by the end of this year, CY05! Do you know what that will mean to the stock price in Jan 06? This is going to be a triple in stock price this year alone!!

ephud, thanks for being a light of reason in a confused chippy world.
AMD is still being dominated at Best Buy, and Costco (the major electronic retailers I visit.)
AMD has few desktops and laptops than last year at this time.
INTC marketing has kept AMD under control.
E-machines going mainly INTC has really hurt AMD chip sales.

AMD just cannot seem to break out into the retail world and the stock price is reflecting this.
Who would have thought AMD would have fallen back so far?
Ephud thats who.

AMD with better and cheaper products still has not been able to compete with INTC.

ps-- i did buy some AMD calls friday.
