But even ignoring this a difference can be easily noticeable without it being morally significant. Are you prepared to make a general statement that any one who is totally dependent can be killed? So....why did he get convicted of two murders? Because law reflects politics as well as logic. The fetus is a human life in terms of this murder charge but it isn't in when abortion is considered according to the law. If a pregnant woman gets killed, is it always double murder?? Not always depends on the state. Tim
