Moussaoui’s not a U.S. CITIZEN. As such, I never could grasp the AG’s “logic” of affording him access to the federal court system. This question of the rights of other-than-citizens interests me. I'd love to see an analysis of them. Over time we have extended our rights of citizenship to others in many areas. Some would like to extend them further, for example, those who would extend them to illegal aliens or fetuses. I'm wondering now what citizenship gets us other than a requirement to pay taxes and a passport.
