I have been thinking about that one as well. So far PRC has not done much to correct the situation in PRK but then again, aren't they traditional allies? With WMD that is. With a hypothetical position of China being, that "...sorry, but we cannot control them since North Korea is an independent nation...".
Imagine a situation of potential hegemony black mail with China as "innocent bystanders" while North Korea is projecting an ultimative threat of action against Japan and/or Taiwan, how would USA handle that?
