Why should one be considered a life while the other be considered "part of a woman's body"? Just because the mother said so?

YOU were the one that used "what the mother said" to make some point, not me. I was just pointing out that your claim is inaccurate.

No one has ever said a fetus is not "a life", whatever the usage of that word means in this context. I've said the obvious - a fetus is not the same as a born child. My views on abortion come out of that obvious idea, and the idea that the fetus carrier's decision of what to do with the fetus insider her is more important than my/your view of what she should do with the fetus inside her.

It's immoral for you to dictate your morality to others. It denies them their freedom, and self actualization.

By that very statement, you are dictating your own morals to me.

Well, you were starting to get out of line... :-)
