The last time I checked, which was a few years ago, a good quality Civil War rifled-musket went for over $2,000. And if you can prove who used the gun ("identified") it goes up from there. Lower quality items were from around $900 on up. I met a guy once that said he and his brothers would saw off the barrel and use them as "Pirate" pistols when they were kids.
