Cy, yesterday's action with UPL and the rest of the energy sector is exactly what I was referring to when I said buy strength and not weakness.

KB and I both stated that our scans were showing quite a few energy related stocks that looked like they were ready to turn up. Most of them gapped at the open. This is where you buy a stock, not while it's dropping.

By waiting for the reversal, you have an immediate profit. Now you can mange a position as opposed to be losing money and trying to average down.

UPL rose 8% yesterday yet nearly half of those who bought as it was falling still don't have a profit.

Waiting on buying volume to show up, like it did on Monday, is the prudent and professional way to enter a position.
