I would say as an investor, EM64T is clearly a superior product at this point. Wouldn't you? However Intel has the luxury of experimenting. IPF may prove to be the better product at some point in the future but that time isn't here yet and may never be. If Ford never had an Edsel they wouldn't have had a Mustang either you know.

Your analogy of the Itanic (IPF) to the Edsel is exceedingly apt.
