IFTA was one of my favorites. Management would issue itself options, then convert and register them using an SB-2 and sell 'em into the market as a "private placement", which it was not. They also used to lend money to the company at an interest rate of about 300% (though they usually didn't let the loans run for more than a few months). But when they borrowed money from the company, which they often did, those loans were interest free. And when they paid back the loans, they did so with stock.
