One of the interesting observations about this East/West split is Montana. Very Democratic right now.

Just might, maybe, have something to do with all the
"left-coaster's" moving there?? Anecdotal info as my son
lives in Bozeman..

I have followed but not posted on it. Seems to be a combination of the local Republicans losing their grip while the Dems got a very good centrist candidate.

The big money demos started moving in 10 years ago. Communist folks like Ted Turner bought large spreads.

But not as demo as you think. I believe the Lt Gov, DA, and quite a few others are Republican.
