Its good to hear that there is progress on this front in the Arab world. I've often wondered how much progress the West has lost[never mind the Arab world] by keeping women in an inferior position for centuries. How many inventions; how many disease cures, how many advancements never happened because half the population was forced to maintain a secondary position? Would we be further advanced than we are now? I think so. ted
