Ted, good article, thanks. re: What Senate Democrats lack is not faith but 50 votes. Frist knows this, of course, but his mad pursuit of the presidency requires him to prove to the Christian right, the core of the Republican Party, that its cause comes before his principles. It's so weird that the "core" of the Republican party is the "religious right". I suspect a backlash. I guess so........so long as the core of the US is not the religious right. Lately, I have begun to wonder. ted
