What a load of bull. Bush did not sign anything. Direct order? LOL...direct order to do what? Let anyone who wants see any of Bush's records? You must be on drugs. Bush's military records are locked up tight. But really what would it matter if they were all released now? He's a lame duck. Orca

Tim, Bush never signed a release. If you can provide a link where it's reported he SIGNED a release, I'd like to see it. You KNOW it would be widely reported and easy to find. Bush's disiplinary records were never released. I wonder why? sunherald.com "The White House has yet to respond to a request by the AP in April asking the president to sign a written waiver of his right to keep records of his military service confidential. Bush gave an oral waiver in a TV appearance that preceded the White House's release this year of materials concerning his National Guard service." If he released all his records, why did the AP SUE him to release ALL his records? Hmmm?
