Elroy, Bastards can't confirm my flight tonight (I'm confirmed for tomorrow, and its a mileage ticket from United on Thai Air....), so it looks like I have another 24 hours of you lot to read about before heading off to the islands........

Good luck, Elroy. I know how you feel about mileage tickets. I just spent 50K miles just for a flight from OC to Denver because Delta puts way too many restrictions for the 25K mile flights. Even then, my return flight was cancelled due to snow and Delta wouldn't reschedule me until THREE DAYS LATER.

So I rented a car with my friend and drove all night to Salt Lake City in order to fly back to our destinations. Paid for by us, of course. You'd think that mileage customers should get special treatment. Yeah, right.

That is a lot of crap because assuming you have a reasonable level with Mileage Plus they can change your bonus ticket at any time, at least on their own flights. And both parties should have an interest in filling up the empty seats now as opposed to tomorrow, where some crazy Saudi billionaire may show up with an interest in paying Molto Dinaro for it.
