In any case, I guess you would agree with me that there is no social pressure for the 60%+ overweight part of the population to lose weight.
I know you know more about we Americans than we Americans, so I won't attempt to tell you you're wrong.

That is not in all of France, but only the SOUTH of France, the infamous "French Riviera" where yours truly lives around the year, among the aged playboys and their pretty playthings. It is an extension of "big money" beach culture, I'm afraid. Not all of France is like this, though.
Glad to hear that. We only actively encourage anorexia in Hollywood and environs.

There are so many women with breast enhancements and silicone lips here in summer that it the place looks like the Baywatch set.
As I said.

What they can't cure is just the natural aging process, which I don't intend to tamper with..
They haven't heard of facelifts and tummy tucks in Europe? Hmmmm, my sources indicate otherwise.

BTW, did you know that between 1950 and 2000, the US had 56 Nobel Prize winners in Physics and France had only 2?
