It is unbelievable. There had to be at least three individuals (or groups of individuals) that were aware of the sign. Someone had to process the request, another person had to make the sign, and somebody put it up. On the other hand, I would not be surprised if someone was trying to embarrass the director, Martin, who is probably a Blagojevich appointment, or the governor himself. There are probably still some Republican holdovers in IDOT. I'll post an update if anyone gets to the bottom of the story.
