"the price of beer increased with almost 5000% in the past 30 years..."

>>>the price of beer increased with almost 5000% in the past 30 years...<<,

Huh? Terrible beer in Tennessee cost 25 cents a can 50 years ago. Retail.

Excellent microbrewery beers now can cost $1.50 a bottle or less. Retail.

Adjust for inflation and you get no change.

Do the hedonic adjustment and you get a decline of 50% or more in price.

Try a cup of coffee if you want inflation. Of course, the coffeee is better, too.

For 5000%, get a wart removed.
