I think you have a partisan axe to grind, Nadine, where I have no dog in the hunt. If the Palestinians and the Arabs killed each other tomorrow, I'd consider it justice, and a big pain in the ass for my country finished. I think most non-Jewish Americans feel as I do.

Actually the Axis killed more than did the Allies in WWII, if you consider the russians to have been Allies du jour, and most of us do

It took two to 'breed' the struggle in Palestine, it took the foreign zionists to come and take the land, and it took the indigenous arab to defend the land ... count em up, that's two [2]

Take away one, and no war ... take away the zionists, and presto, no invader for the indigenous to defend against

Take away the indigenous, and presto, no struggle because it really would have been a 'land without a people', and no worries
