You got it right.It's easy to recycle our trash and blame those wicked developers and oil companies but don't let anybody tell us to limit our family to two children. The environment ain't THAT important Oh noooo...

And when push comes to shove guess who is gonna suffer? We will hear more of the old "what's more important people or animals?" in the mad dash to squeeze the last drop of blood outa the planet....I am not optimistic.

Agree population is fundamental issue. would also add consumer lifestyle as an issue. SUV's, 4000s.f. house, disposable products, etc. place a vast strain on the environment. simply reducing the amount of meat in our (western) diets and focusing on fuel efficiency would make a significant environmental difference.
