Besides, why would anybody think Washington could do a better job of managing one-seventh of the economy than it managed, say, the Pentagon?
Now this has always puzzled me. Why do those who think $1,000 toilet seats are such a crime think the same organization will do a superb job of managing health care?

Someone think national defense isn't a top priority? Get conquered and your conquerors decide your priorities.
