Forced? He could not hide? He did not even live in Germany. And forced or not it was a mind warping experience and he was in for 2 years or more. The Catholic Church is guilty of horrendous crimes over the centuries. It was the Catholic Church with the sanction of the Pope that burned people at the stake for differences in beliefs. Is it OK if the Catholic's do it? The Catholics have a Hitler Youth Pope. What happened to the verses about church leaders must be above reproach!! He is only a man. He means nothing and the whole Catholic Church is really a cult. It has many cultish trappings. The whole idea of needing a priest to approach God is a heresy. A Catholic priest had total control of people's lives until Martin Luther. Praying to the saints is completely unscriptual and a false teaching. The saints cannot answer prayers.

I just by chance <g> recently saw a documentary on the Hitler Youth. From what I saw it just confirmed what I had said before. After 2 years in the HY he would no longer remember anything of his former self. It was total nazi indoctrination and brainwashing. The vatican is just trying to play it down. What you are saying is the same as saying that because I can't look into the soul of a rape victim I cannot possibly assert that the victim was upset by the assault. Some things are just plainly obvious.
