The only issue over Annan was if he should have controlled his son better. The open question is, are fathers responsible for their adult sons' misbehavior, and can they control them? If fathers are responsible, then Bush Sr. has a lot to answer for, doesn't he?

But in Bush Sr.'s case, he wanted GW to cool it and prepare better if he was going to invade Iraq. In fact Bush Sr. may have even been against invading at all. But his son didn't listen to him. As GW said "I listened to a higher father". Once again, GW posing as a pious Christian, though most of his policies go directly agasinst what Christ taught us.
