I would love to talk to some of these dealers whom supposedly put down deposits. Not a bad idea, but Zap never told us who they are, did they? So, even better: a chat with Thomas Heidemann, the president of Smart Auto LLC -- which imports the Smarts and modifies them for Zap -- could be instructive... How many did they import? Where and how are they stored? How many can they modify per month, at full tilt? Etc...
