MAQUOKETA, Wis. -- A jury found a Kenosha man guilty Wednesday of murdering his longtime friend in Iowa and stealing his collection of Civil War memorabilia.

The Jackson County, Iowa, jury deliberated for about 2½ hours before finding Douglas DeBruin guilty of killing Gregory May in 2001.

The jury got the case late Tuesday afternoon.

DeBruin faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole. Sentencing is set for May 6.

May disappeared in January 2001.

Prosecutors say DeBruin killed him and chopped up his body with a chain saw.

May's head was later found in a bucket of concrete at a truck stop in Missouri.

I didn't SAY I'd put you up to anything. I said I'd take the blame since my pile of sins is so high such a small increment would hardly be noticed.

Granny is back. Could get interesting over there. If you have the right sort of sense of humor.
