So what about the offspring of an illicit union or how do we treat the bastard. (g) They are not responsible for the circumstances of their birth. I suppose the church would encourage the parents to marry, of course sometimes this isn't a good idea or even possible. When the moral tenets of the church are broken lets say by kids having sex, is it better for them to get to contraception in order to prevent conception? If i were a priest i would have a tough time with that one The church would probably say its not better but I can understand why many people, including some priests, have a problem with that one. Tim
