I take Eclectic Institute, echinacea purpurea root, freeze dried, every day. They are the best brand out there because freeze drying preserves all the constituents of the live herb and because they wildcraft or use organic, the head of the company is a former pharmacist and they are careful about quality whereas herbs in stores can be bought in bulk and be less potent. You can order by phone if you want 1 800 332 HERB...they also have a blend, if I recall, maybe that's the best, it has the root and leaf and some standardized extract.
