An side note. Its interesting that we can discuss one of the most controversial issues in modern history, with out all the rancor, and sarcasm, and insults, and talking past each other, that seems to have become common place in discussions of partisan politics, or the war. The disagreement about abortion is more fundamental than the current hot button political issues, but whenever they come up, the knives come out.

I appreciate being able to talk in great detail, about such a difficult issue, without all the crap that comes from both sides of many recent discussions.

Thanks but it has a lot to do with you. Too many people are partisan and adversarial. While you have your POV, you rarely get angry or abusive about it. I don't know how you do it but if I did not respond in like kind.......if instead I was rude and abrasive........I think that would be unfair.

I was thinking along that same line tonite.........Ann Coulter accusing Time Magazine of purposely putting a bad picture on the cover because she is a conservative or some guy spitting on Jane Fonda or someone throwing a pie at J. Buchanan. People are getting really mean spirited. Its not good. People don't deserve to be attacked because they do not agree with your POV. That's not what this country is supposed to represent.
