Greenspan = political hack. I believe that he has last virtually all credibility. He has been heard to mumble that the huge tax cuts to the ultrawealthy haven't had much effect on getting the economy (particularly the job market) rolling....ooops! The rest was gobbledygook. Even the ultra conservative WSJ did an analysis of the deficit and concluded that Iraq and the tax cuts did more damage to the budget than the downturn in the economy. When was the last time we cut taxes AND went to war at the same time? Bush et al are fiscally irresponsible thieves. They're bankrupting the US so that they can eliminate all social programs and cement in the vast wealth gap that has been created since the days of ReaganTheSchmuck. Bush WANTS to kill SS, Medicare/Medicaid and all other social programs created in the last century. When that becomes clear, all the bs they mumble also becomes clear.
