slacks - forget the A/H action its total nonsense. Looks to me like this is one of the slow qtrs of teh year and margin are up well up, revenues are up, things look good and it earned 39c and thats about $1.60 anually and thats a current P/e of just over 16. That'll do just fine.

A 16 P/E on this company is a joke.

Best,

L

Product revenue grew 18% and royalty revenue grew 7% year-over-year.
Megabytes sold in the first quarter increased 189% year-over-year and were down approximately 13% from the seasonally strong fourth quarter of 2004.
Average density per card sold in retail was 411 megabytes, up 125% from the first quarter of 2004 and up 15% sequentially.
Average price per megabyte sold in the first quarter declined at a moderate pace of 10% sequentially and 59% from the first quarter of 2004.
Product gross margin in the first quarter increased 5 points both year-over-year and sequentially to a record 37.2%.
Operating income was $114 million and 25% of revenue compared to $99 million and 25% of revenue in the first quarter of 2004 and $126 million and 23% of revenue in the fourth quarter of 2004.
Cash flow from operations was $134 million compared to $76 million in the first quarter of 2004 and $12 million in the fourth quarter of 2004.

We'll have to wait and hear about guidance, but most of these numbers look pretty decent. The ASP decline basically matched Samsung's number....which means that Lexar is still screwed. I had thought that 90nm was supposed to make up 90% of production this quarter but perhaps I was mistaken. Perhaps that is why bit growth was down a bit more than I expected....

I think the GM's beat all of the analysts expectations but the revenue number is inline at best. Now we just need some positive commentary going forward....

Did I miss the guidance for ASP decline for the 2nd quarter? I think they gave guidance for 20-30% bit growth but missed any mention of ASP's.

Sort of odd....last quarter they gave the ASP guidance but no bit growth number.
