Some days it feels that long. :) And with stories of little ones who are now adults going out into the world... that is aging enough. A few years ago I was talking with an old friend from SF who'd packed up and moved to a small town in Oregon. She had just gotten a motorcycle, which she'd promised herself to do before 50, so at 49 she did it. That brought big smiles to think of her tooling around the Oregon coast on her motorcycle. Being on the downside to 50 now, myself, I'm trying to come up with something reachable as a goal. But it won't be a motorcycle for me! but never say never.
