An interesting point (kinda like: 'why should *we* run dry *first*?')

I've long believed that --- eventually --- every drop of commercially recoverable oil would one day be extracted and used.

However, it's also valid to point out that oil located on American public land is owned by the American people, has been safe there for millions of years, so it's kind of like saying it's 'in the bank'... no different then any other resource owned by the public.

I believe it's logical to say that whomever is pumping oil *last* will be selling it at the highest prices.
