Bush's military were scrubbed, correct. The fact is, he had drug problems in those days, may have gotten arrest for cocaine, was suspended from flying, refused to show up, went AWOL and then later in his book lied and claimed he was a real jet fighter pilot who was ready for war if his country needed him. False. Bush intentionally quit early (getting permission because of his powerful last name) specifically to avoid any risk of being sent to Vietnam. Cheney and Delay were also draft-dodgers.
