Would Israel consider the settlers to be under Palestinian jurisdiction, subject to Palestinian law? I There are Gaza settlers proposing just that - that they should be given the choice to become Palestinian citizens and stay. Both governments will work to prevent it, as it would only end in a massacre. Hamas does not play by the rulebook of civilization. Which is, btw, the real reason why Palestine will be delivered Jew-free. The Palestinians can be counted on to behave like theocratic gangsters. Just look at what has happened to the Christian population in the areas of PA control.
