OK, now I think I get it. They're talking about sales (dollar amount), where I was talking about pounds. Most wild salmon is canned, and the wholesale value of canned salmon is very low so would explain the discrepancy. Regardless of which figures we use, farmed salmon clearly has a dominant market share.
