Saw a bit today with Supremes Breyer - Scalia and O'Connor. Geez Loueeze, Breyer was reasoned, thoughtful and open minded while Scalia was a putz. If Scalia is a 'strict constructionist' then he should sit in a bunker with no access to the outside world and do nothing but read and reread the Constitution. All his politicking makes him out to be an absolute liar.

I fully expect 70% of them running for re-election next year to get swept out Dream on. Moderation in all things has been my motto. Now it must be the motto for our country and both political parties. What the people want is bi-partisanship, not more division. You have been reluctant to demonstrate it in your posts. It would be nice to have moderation in communication. Yes people do want bi-partisanship. Democrats are hurting themselves by doing the opposite. If Nancy Pelosi was half as agreeable as Bill Frist, you might actually stand a chance of gains.
