Jim Bakker admits in his book that he was molested by a homo predator from his church as a boy for years. At least Bakker is willing to admit that there are a lot of stinky things in the religious right's closets, including a lot of swishy men. I know so many churchy families with so many degenerate problems. But hey, isn't dressing up in robes and singing in the choir very gay? Kind of like the boy scouts. Then there's the whole Jimmy Swaggart side of things. Tempted by the very things they preach against, like porno and hookers. Of course there are many honest ministers as well, the majority in fact. But the minority have all the power in the GOP. The scam artist and hypocrite types. Bakker's biggest admission is that "prosperity Christianity" (what half the rightwing evangelists preach) is against Christ's teachings. The word "blessed" has also come to mean having good financial fortune. So Bakker contends the whole emphasis on capitalist material Christianity is strictly against the Bible. Someone ought to tell the evangelicals who support Tom DElay this.
