Jeff, I was going to port that post over here, the one in which she accused you of having no moral code, or some such. FWIW, I am a vegetarian, and I do not use or wear leather, fur, etc., but am not evangelical about it. It is just something that I do, and I take offense at the shrill and strident, radical, tunnel-visioned zealots among us. I have absolutely no use for PETA and think that group, and others of their ilk, does far more harm than good. Oh, and before you ask, my pets were NOT vegetarians. - Holly

Jeff, you did a great job over at the "feelies" thread! One thing you will find out about them is that they will regularly make baseless assumptions about you, then use their false assumptions to attack you personally (IE - you lack any ethics for eating meat, but ionesco, who also eats meat, is considered an elite among the elites there). This will not result in any of them being taken to task for violating established thread standards either (clearly enumerated in the thread header). However, many of the folks who are already banned there, myself included, have been banned for pointing out this obvious hypocrisy that regularly occurs there. We were banned even though we did not violate any of their established standards. Our crime was that we had a different POV than their fervently held beliefs (most of which have little or no basis in fact or reality). Perhaps you & Bill will be allowed to continue since this obvious hypocrisy has been thoroughly exposed here & on other threads. Any new groupthink driven bans would make it harder to pretend that they aren't really the hypocrites we have clearly established them to be. And for them, perception is EVERYTHING..... regardless of the facts.
