Smithee, there was a study conducted in Scandinavia some years ago which demonstrated that vegetarians, even those who smoked, were far less likely to contract cancer, heart disease, and other illnesses which have been attributed to smoking, than were nonvegetarians who did not smoke.

I cannot locate a link to this particular study. I tried to find such for Laz several months ago. The study was conducted long before the advent of the World Wide Web. As we know, the WWW often has severe short-term memory problems. - Holly
