And yet Pamela is advocating a way of living that is much more compassionate and evolved than the one you have been advocating. So why judge her so harshly? Why assume that you are automatically superior to her? I am hoping that this discussion might actually cause you to think occasionally of the animal who suffered to be your hamburger or chicken wings. A lot of people go through life subtly changing the way they see things like this. I ate meat until I discovered how meat was raised in America. I had no idea about factory farming, since there is a big attempt to keep it a secret. If you paid for the hamburger, I still maintain you are responsible for its life. Why are you not? Your demand for it created its suffering. I do hope you mull this over. Anyone can change their mind, their worldview. You are probably a very nice person from a part of American culture where this just isn't something you have really considered yet.
